Vessel Studio AiR, Ibiza

Vessel Studio AiR will provide physical space and support for each artist in resident’s creative process and practice. The residency is not project based although site responsive iterations are encouraged. There are the following criteria for each artist to implement in their own ways. As the residency is designed for one artist at a time these criteria are an essential component of the residency that assists in maintaining dynamism, energy and an ongoing dialogue which in turn allows for real support to be provided.

Criteria

1/ An Exhibition either during or at the end of the residency. Discussed and planned in advance and with appropriate support. This can be either in the studio space or a chosen location relating to the work.

2/ An interview either with Rachel or a journalist (or both)

3/ A meeting once a week to discuss progress, the work any needs and further development and/ or collaborations in Ibiza.

4/ A workshop and/or Open Studio.

5/ Any work sold through introductions by Vessel Studio AiR will take a commission of 20% this includes any sales at the exhibition. There will be a contract to sign at the beginning of the residency.
